I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy in sunny Townsville, North Queensland and moved to Tamworth following the completion of my degree. For the past 6 years I have enjoyed rehabilitating a wide range of injuries within all age groups at our practice.
I also have a keen interest in working with young athletes to reach their rehabilitation or physical goals.

Continence & Women's Health Physiotherapist

I completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy through the University of Newcastle in 2014, where I had the opportunity to complete my final year of studies in Tamworth. I was keen to return to my roots in the country after graduating, and have worked in Private Practice and the local community here since.
I love to work with a range of patients at Proactive from babies to the elderly. My special interest is helping children of all ages to develop their movement skills, fulfill their potential to be active and facilitate their lifelong enjoyment of physical activity. I enjoy working with families to achieve their children’s goals and aim to make Physiotherapy fun and engaging!
Outside of work I enjoy being active outdoors, spending time with my family and curling up with a good book.

I completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy with honours at the University of Newcastle in 2017. Prior to this I spent 4 years in the United States as a student-athlete playing college baseball while completing a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical education.
After finishing playing, I spent an additional year working in the US as a Strength and Conditioning coach to further pursue my interest in sport and athletic performance. After coming back to Australia and completing my Physiotherapy degree I have been fortunate enough to return to my home town and join the team here at Pro Active.
My main aim is to help patients move, feel and perform better.

Hi there, I’m Lauren. I love all things musculoskeletal physiotherapy with a special love of sports injuries. My goal for all my patients is to walk out with not only an exercise sheet but a head full of knowledge about their own personal injury.
Currently I manage the Gunnedah Satellite clinic and treat two days per week. If I’m not in clinic you’ll find me chasing my toddler around, organising my husband or playing some sort of sport.
